We are happy to meet with prospective parents desiring to enroll their child(ren) at The Innovation Preparatory International Academy. Book an appointment with the Business Office to discuss what IPREP offers, complete an application form and submit it. Successful applicants will be notified as soon as their applications are reviewed and invited to the school to sit an entrance exam.

Note: New enrollment cycle begins every August. Enrollment may be completed up to mid-term of Term 1 and during the 3rd week of Term 2. For expatriate families in particular, applications may be accepted all year round.

Enrollment Process

  • Prospective learners should have:
    1. Three (3) years of Preparatory education in any system. Lower School starts from 1st grade
    2. Six (6) yearsof Lower education in any system. Middle School starts from 7th grade
    3. Nine (9) years of basic education in any system to be accepted in High School, which starts from 10th grade

                                        N.B. Preparatory education starts from age 2.

  • Take an entrance examination and obtain passes in all three (3) subjects:

                                 Mathematics         

                                 English Language Arts

                                 Reading

  • Obtain application forms, complete with required attachments, and return them by the given date. Successful applicants will be notified as soon as their entrance tests are reviewed and invited to the school to sit an interview.
  • Successful candidates accepted into IPREP will be notified via telephone and a confirmation email. It is imperative for parents to act quickly to confirm interest.
  • Parents are expected to confirm acceptance of the offered admission by paying a non-refundable registration deposit. This deposit will be deducted from the First Term fees as per the Tuition Fees Policy structure for the current academic year (see tuition policy). Tuition payment arrangements must be completed on or before the first day of each term, failure to do so could result in late payment penalties and further sanctions, which may include the exclusion of your child from school until such time all fees are paid in full.
  • After confirming interest, parents will have approximately 2 weeks to guarantee a place. As a matter of policy, the school does not publish or discuss candidates’ scores.

                      For enrollment to be finalised, the following documents are necessary:

  • 1 Medical report from a reputable health center in the school’s format
  • Two (2): passport-size photos attached to the Admission form 
  • Report card, transcript and testimonial from last school attended. (This will include academic, behavioral and disciplinary reports for 1 year). Applicant(s) will not be admitted without official records
  • Signed copies of the Application for Admission, Tuition Policy, Medical History and Pick-up authorization Forms
  • Copy of Birth Certificate or Passport (photo identification/biometric page)
  • Interview form (only the first page filled out)
  • All learners should be interviewed and given an entrance exam. The admission procedure must be concluded before a student is allowed to commence classes.
Selection criteria

Criteria for admission includes, but is not limited to, academic ability based on past scholastic performance and test scores as well as an on-campus/video interview with either the Principal and General Manager, and past and present school recommendations.

Priority Consideration

Innovation Preparatory International Academy encourages applications from and admits a broad range of learners with diverse talents, ideas and life experiences, any racial, ethnic or religious background and those who share the common goal of developing the attitudes and skills required for success. It is the aim of IPREP to provide places for all members of the community. Our programs and policies are applied with equal consideration to all of its applicants and students.

In the event that places become limited, then admission is prioritised according to the following criteria:

  1. Children who have siblings, where all siblings of IPREP School age are attending IPREP
  2. If the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of spaces available (16 per class), IPREP will consider the date of application as one of the determining criteria
  3. The admissions committee will process complete applications only. Falsifications on applications are reason for dismissal
Term Dates

The school runs three terms in an academic year. During the 2023-2024 Academic year the school terms will run as follows:

  • Term 1: September to December
  • Term 2: January to March
  • Term 3: April to June
New Enrollment

1) Prospective students should have completed:

  • nine (9) years of basic education in any system to be accepted in High School, which starts from 10th grade
  • six (6) years of elementary education in any system. Middle School starts from 7th grade
  • six (3) years of Preparatory education in any system. Elementary School starts from 1st grade
  • Preparatory education starts from age 2

2) Obtain application forms, complete with required attachments, and return them by the given date.

3) Take an entrance examination and obtain passes in all three (3) subjects i.e., Mathematics, Reading, and English.

4) Accept admission offer by paying a non-refundable registration fee. Parents must confirm their acceptance of any places offered to their children by paying a Registration Fee as per the tuition fee structure for the current academic year and subsequent termly Tuition Fees (see tuition policy). Tuition payment arrangements must be completed on or before the first day of each term, failure to do so could result in late payment penalties and further sanctions, which may include the exclusion of your child from school until such time all fees are paid in full.

Re-Enrollment

Returning student registration for the 2023-24 school term begins in September. An email/phone call will be sent/place to current families when enrollment officially opens.

NOTE: PARENTS ARE ADVISED THAT ALL FEES ARE INVOICED AND PAYABLE IN USD.
 25% of FEES MAY BE PAID IN LRD AT AN EXCHANGE RATE SET PERIODICALLY BY MANAGEMENT IN LINE WITH THE CBL RATE OF EXCHANGE AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT.
